Notes
The Brooklyn-based retro-futuristic collective has it’s roots in a variety of styles and influences, from Blues and The Beatles to Bowie and Byrne and the beatbox. "Tourist on the Run" is a nine-song saga about one man's stumble along the roadways and into the airports, cheap hotels, and tourist traps that litter the galaxies of a private imagination. Comprised of a disparate group of musicians across the country, Bohagey Bowes emerged in 2006 with this thematic album of songs meant to convey a search for a place to belong. Though all are accomplished at their art, some of the group have, in fact, never met. They do, however, play very well together. IT'S WHAT YOU'VE BEEN LISTENING FOR!
